Ted Krofchak and his wife Leona Alleslev are the parents of two amazing kids, Christopher and Hillary. The household keeps their appearances low as the kids can not afford to live a high-profile life.

Indeed, he has cited on numerous occasions that, at his age, family is what matters as his parents are getting older, and he wishes to spend more time with them.

Ted Krofchak is a former CF-18 fighter pilot whose education qualifications remain anonymous. But he calls Temagami his home as he went on to build the city even after his retirement. Despite years of leaving the town for his job, he still misses the glorious summer he spent in the village.

Indeed, his job as a bush pilot entails traveling around the globe to deliver goods and people, but the town was something different. He recalled the Wakimika Lake and the lush forest when he was in the sky and can be a firsthand witness to the agonizing deforestation and loss of wildfire to the greed for lodging.

So, he set out on a mission to rebuild the Temagami Outfitting, setting aside eight years of his life for the project.
