JellyBean has been teasing her face reveal since earlier this year. JellyBean is a popular YouTuber and Twitch streamer.
Also known as Bean or BeanNotHere, they run a successful YouTube channel with over 3.57 million subscribers where they post videos of her gaming in Minecraft while also reacting to tweets and videos. They are one of the new flocks of YouTubers utilizing YouTube shorts over videos.
They are also a Twitch streamer and have amassed 362K followers on the platform. Here is where they stream her gameplay and let’s play Minecraft and other games.
Earlier in the year, JellyBean tested that they had been thinking of doing a face reveal, or at least an eye reveal, if they ever crossed 3 million subscribers on her YouTube channel, much to the applause of their fans.
Has JellyBean Done A Face Reveal?
JellyBean did an eye reveal as promised when her channel surpassed three million subscribers. JellyBean did her eye reveal on Twitter.
They first posted a tweet sharing that they were scared to do her eye reveal on September 11, 2022. Under the tweet, they tweeted a picture of her face but with her hand covering her eyes and a mask covering the rest of her face.
Later in the day, they finally tweeted a picture with her eyes revealed. The picture showed her face close to the screen, still wearing the face mask, but with her eyes showing through the framed glasses they were wearing.
Since then, they have started showing her masked-up face but with her eyes shown more often in streams and videos. they even attended Twitch Con in October, but with her mask on, and met many of her fans.
As stated above, this whole endeavor happened after JellyBean posted a shot on February 2, 2022. This short, titled “Minecraft but I face reveal?” showed her avatar talking to the audience about how they’d been thinking about doing a face reveal recently.
However, since they wanted to play it out, they said they wanted to do an eye reveal first. To that end, JellyBean stated that they would do an eye reveal if they crossed three million subscribers.
But JellyBean didn’t seem confident in her wish and kept joking about the ordeal. they then released another short a month later, on March 8, 2022, called “My Face reveal?” In the video, they replied to a bunch of tweets directed at her.
The last tweet asked if they would do a face reveal, and they moved to do so, but then the video ended. Fans replied to her incessant teasing by making sure they surpassed 3 million, and since then, they have reached 3.57 million subscribers.
What Does JellyBean Look Like?
JellyBean has a very distinct look despite not doing a face reveal. JellyBean is an 18-year-old girl.
A little on the short side, JellyBean is a brownish-looking girl with short hair that has colored purple, though they have a tendency to color it to pink and sometimes dark. Dark seems to be her natural color.
On the heavy set side, they look surprisingly like her avatar, a purple-skinned demon-like girl wearing a purple hoodie with dark ripped jeans.
They have stated that they are Hispanic and of Mexican descent. Also, they are non-binary, use they/them pronouns, and stand at five feet and 1 inch.
They graduated from high school on May 12, 2022. They joined Youtube on October 8, 2020, but didn’t upload their first video until February 8, 2021.
However, they wouldn’t start gaining momentum until they posted their first YouTube short on October 21, 2021. YouTube Shorts ended up becoming the way for JellyBean to start gaining subscribers.
Since then, in the span of a year, they have surpassed 3.57 million subscribers and garnered over 604 million views on their YouTube channel alone. But it hasn’t been without controversy.
JellyBean’sreveal of her wanting to do a face reveal caused a bit of a stir on the internet as people started making mean TikToks about her and cyberbullying her on Twitter. This happened because many people deem her content cringe because of her hyperactive and sanitized persona.
The same people started making TikToks, where they posted pictures or videos of ugly animals and people and wondered if that was how JellyBean looked like. On Twitter, people who disliked her content started calling her ugly and begging her not to do a face reveal to be spared of her ugliness.
It got to the point where other YouTubers were making videos about cyberbullying. For example, the Youtuber SunnyV2 made a video where he talked about the many hate videos that had been made about her.
Despite the hate and cyberbullying, JellyBean continues to strive on without letting it affect her. Her eye reveal was a big success, and she continues to get lots of views.
