Honolulu Police say that a Marine currently on active duty is suspected of killing his pregnant wife during a roadside altercation.
The Marine, identified by witnesses as Bryant Tejeda-Castillo, is accused of stabbing Dana Alotaibi, 27, as she stood over him on July 20 before running away into a nearby wooded area.
Alotaibi, a native of Virginia, was declared dead at a hospital in Hawaii after the terrible assault. But why did her estranged husband kill her?

Dana Alotaibi, 27, his estranged wife, who was three months pregnant, was allegedly stabbed by Bryant Tejeda-Castillo during a dispute on a highway in Hawaii. Although there had been previous personal disputes, authorities are still unsure of the murderer’s motive.
According to HPD murder officer Deena Thoemmes, it was established that Alotaibi and Tejeda-Castillo, a member of the Marines’ 3rd Littoral Combat Team, were married and had marital issues.
Likewise, Tejeda-Castillo requested a divorce in November 2021, and a judge ultimately approved it last month, per court documents acquired by KITV.
Moreover, Natalia Cespedes, Alotaibi’s mother, said that Alotaibi had previously provided her with messages and images allegedly showing the alleged abuse.

Marine Bryant Tejeda Castillo Arrested For H3 Stabbing Case- His Bail Set At $1 Million
A second-degree murder accusation has been brought against Bryant Tejeda-Castillo, a Marine assigned to the Kaneohe-based 3rd Littoral Combat Team. $1 million has been set as his bail.
At a news conference, Deena Thoemmes, homicide lieutenant of the Honolulu Police Department’s criminal investigation section, stated that witnesses to the horrifying incident on Wednesday “saw a male standing over a female, stabbing her multiple times.”
Tejeda-Catillo used the same knife to stab himself once in the woods before fleeing while they sought to help the victim and apprehend the suspect. Eventually, the police caught up with him and arrested him.
Officials reported that he was taken to a hospital and is still being held there. The two reportedly got into a heated dispute before the attack on Wednesday.

Per her Instagram page, Bryant Castilo seems to have cheated on his estranged wife, Dana Alotaibi.
Additionally, she posted a picture to her Instagram account with the remark, “This is why I have been teaching girls to just cheat back.” The caption that follows describes her betrayal in their relationship.
Similarly, comments on the image have been made by some of her fans, who said, “Why cheat back? Just leave your life, Boo. “
Another person responded to the message by saying, “He killed her off.” Therefore, don’t cheat, ladies and gentlemen; it could get you murdered. “
In another post, Dana can be seen weeping in one of her posts about her dysfunctional marriage with her husband. One person commented, “She had a chance to leave when he was deployed.”
