Zeina Alostwani is a preschool teacher from Georgia who was serving at Parker-Chase Preschool in Roswell. The teacher covered the whole internet after she got detained on allegations of child cruelty that were captured on a live classroom stream. Besides, Alostwani was not only the one to get arrested; another teacher, Soriana Briceno, was also arrested.
Briceno is reported to be the former teacher at Parker-Chase Preschool. Both of them were arrested and charged Monday with first-degree child cruelty. The alleged physical contact between the teachers and students, aged 2 and 3, happened Thursday and was seen by a parent watching the Livestream.

Zeina Alostwani is a 40-years aged teacher serving at Parker-Chase Preschool. She came into the spotlight when the footage from inside the Pre-Primary B classroom of Parker Chase Preschool in East Roswell, Georgia, got released. In the footage, we can see Alostwani and another teacher, Briceno pushing and shouting at kids as they sat in a circle on the floor as a group last week.
The 40-years-old teacher is seen standing on a child’s hand and kneeing another child in the back while the 19-years-old teacher, Briceno, sat in the center of the group of children. The footage shows Briceno shouting at one child close to their face. Not only that, but she also shoves them in the forehead with her finger.
Preschool Teacher Zeina Alostwani Arrested For Child Cruelty
Zeina Alostwani has been arrested and charged with first-degree cruelty to children. Warrants say a third teacher also saw the alleged assault but, at this time, is not facing charges. Also, the name of the third teacher has not been released.
Alostwani is seen standing on a child’s hand and kneeing another child in the back. And the second teacher, Briceno, shouted at one child close to their face. For your information, the school is operated by Endeavor Schools LLC, which said in a report they are investigating the behavior.
The kids in the class covered by Alostwani and Briceno are the ages between two and three. Moreover, Alostwani and Briceno appeared in Fulton County court on Tuesday, where prosecutors gave Alostwani a $75,000 bond. And Briceno was not given a bond because of her immigration and asylum status. They are currently being held in Fulton County Jail.
