YBN, short for Young Boss Niggaz, is a well known hip-hop collective formed by Nick Simmons, popularly known as YBN Nahmir. The Modernized rap crew’s incarnation is Young Boss N*ggaz, most commonly known as YBN.
YBN History
Founded in 2014 in an ad-hoc and offhand by YBN Nahmir initially a gaming group where Nahmir and his friends were playing video games, recording videos, uploading and streaming their videos to YouTube on Twitch.tv.
In 2015, after freestyling in Xbox Live group chats, Nahmir and Almighty Jay finally decided to record a song. They formally unveiled themselves to the world with “Hood Mentality” featuring the newly enlisted Jay.
This basic effort of the two glaringly youthful MCs produced little to no dent in the collective consciousness. Compared to the numbers and internet chatter that every fresh track of their camp commands today.

YBN Nahmir
Nicholas Simmons founded the YBN collective born December 18, 1999. He will be celebrating his 20th birthday 2019 Dec. Simmons is popularly known as YBN Nahmir. The star’s nationality is American. Both a rapper and songwriter.
Known for his singles “Rubbin Off the Paint” which charted and peaked at number 46 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and “Bounce Out With That” peaking at number one on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart.
