The young surfer Caitlin Simmers emerged as the ultimate winner of the World Surf League’s Boost Mobile Gold Coast Pro presented by Rip Curl.
She was up against the tough competitor, Molly Picklum, and had even beaten former CT surfers like Joao Chianca and Sally Fitzgibbons to qualify for the final face-off.
Caitlin is the 2021 winner of the U.S. Open of Surfing and WSL Jack’s Pro WQS. She had recently placed third at the Roxy Pro France (Challenger Series).
