Halston Sage is an American actress. She is known for her television roles, such as Grace on the Nickelodeon series How to Rock, Amber on the NBC series Crisis, Alara Kitan on the Fox series The Orville, and Ainsley Whitley on the Fox television series Prodigal Son.
Why was Halston Sage removed from The Orville?
In season one, she and Seth MacFarlane were romantically involved, and she refused to work with him after the relationship ended. She resigned because she disliked wearing the prosthetics required for the role.
After her exit, the door was left wide open for Halston Sage to return to The Orville — and return she did, in the show’s season 2 finale, “The Road Not Taken,” in which an alternate timeline plot allowed Alara Kitan to reappear.
Who replaced Halston Sage?
But now that Jessica Szohr’s character Talla Keyali has taken over as the USS Orville’s new Xelayan security chief, coordinating another return might be a little difficult – especially since the renewal of The Orville: New Horizons itself is currently uncertain.
