However, things are not going well for people on the internet who rely heavily on the Pannchoa to gain insights about what is happening in the K-pop industry.
Pannchoa, as says on its Twitter bio, “We translate about Korean music, drama, lifestyle, and more!” is a translation site. But in the second quarter of 2021, it was removed from Reddit, and netizens are worried.
But they are divided while some users fully support them as they are their source of Korean news and entertainment; sizable users have wanted people not to follow such translation websites, as they spread false information and articles.

Pannchoa is not a living individual, so it does not age. It is a translation website. However, in terms of its creation, the Twitter page @pannchoa was created in December 2014. So its age is nearly eight years old.
On June 29, 2022, it tweeted a post about some Korean artists turning 30 this year. The list has some interesting names with the likes of BTS artist Kim Nam and Red Velvet singer Irene, who has 10.7 million followers on her Instagram.
Irene was born Bae Joo-Hyun on March 29, 1991, in Daegu, South Korea. She turned 31 last March. Known by her stage name Irene, she is the lead singer of the South Korean girl band Red Velvet.

Since October 2, 2021, Pannchoa has not published anything on their Reddit page, and now the channel has been taken down. People expected the page to come up with exciting K-pop news that day, only to be left disappointed and stranded.
And since then, much buzz has been going on in and out of Reddit about what happened to the famous Korean entertainment site. Many believe that their news was filled with false facts and controversies, ultimately leading to their downfall.
For it to unexpectedly stop translating, these sites either have done something wrong or something terrible must have occurred. One Reddit user wrote, “I am picturing the worst possible possibilities right now because there isn’t a status update on the website about what happened to it.”
One of the few links tying the global k-pop fanbase to the Korean one is translation websites like these. They, therefore, have an enormous influence on the information they provide to the international side. However, because these websites rely on ad click money, they mostly translate contentious material for the audience’s opinions. Additionally, these pieces influence the views of foreign fans.
They warn blind K-pop fans not to believe in anything they throw on their websites. Another translation website Netizenbuzz also suffered the same fate as Pannchoa. However, Pannchoa is still lively on Twitter and their website translating news and articles from the Korean music industry.
