Australian-American business mogul, Rupert Murdoch reportedly divorced American model and actress, Jerry Hall due to irreconcilable differences.
Rupert Murdoch met Jerry Hall in Australia in 2015 when Hall was touring in the stage adaption of The Graduate, playing Mrs. Robinson.
Their relationship came into the limelight when Murdoch was photographed kissing Hall at the Rugby World Cup final at Twickenham in October 2015.
Rupert Murdoch announced his engagement to actress Jerry Hall on January 11, 2016.
The pair legally tied the knot on March 4, 2016, just two weeks after their engagement and a week short of Rupert’s 85th birthday.
The ceremony took place in London, at St Bride’s, Fleet Street with a reception at Spencer House.
However, in June 2022, The New York Times reported that Rupert Murdoch and Jerry Hall were set to divorce, citing two anonymous sources.
On July 1, 2022, Hall filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences. The divorce was finalized in August 2022.
