Who Was Tsukumo Sana Before Hololive? Past Identity Mystery Reveal

Tsukomo Sana, who began her career as a Hololive English Visual YouTuber in 2021, is a member of the second generation of Hololive English Visual YouTubers.

In addition to that, she is also known by the moniker Nanashi Mumen, which is a reference to the fact that she is legally unable to remember her true name.

It was reported on Tuesday by Cover Corp that a member of Hololive named Vtuber Tsukumo Sana will graduate from Hololive, making her the first member of HoloEn to do so. Cover Corp went on to clarify that the reason for her leaving is quite convoluted.

Tsukumo Sana Before Hololive: Past Identity & Face Reveal IRL

Nanashi Mumei is Tsukumo Sana, who acts under the guise of the character when she is on stage, as is suggested by her persona. She has yet to reveal her true identity to the people who follow her.

Despite this, she has been very forthcoming with her ardent fans regarding a variety of things, including her own personal tastes as well as the preferences of her characters.

In spite of the fact that she has a propensity to forget things, it is a part of her responsibility as a protector of civilization on earth to gather and keep track of the history of humankind in order to ensure that it is not lost. The second one of her responsibilities is to serve as a source of motivation for other individuals so that all of humanity might achieve its goals.

There is a good chance that Mumei has been known by a different name for a very long time. It is only Mumei that she can bring to mind at this point. The barn owl, a bird that is often taken to represent enlightenment and knowledge, served as the inspiration for her overall appearance.

Why Is She Leaving?

Sana made the announcement that she would leave her role as a member of Hololive on July 31, 2022, making her the first person to graduate from Cover Corp as the Hololive English Visual Youtuber. The announcement was made on July 11, 2022.

According to Sana and a news release issued by the COVER firm, she was unable to continue with her VTuber activities as easily as she had before.

She also remarked that she wished she could stay forever for everyone and that she had the feeling that she was existing in a fairy tale, and that fairy stories “had to end.”

Her followers held out hope, prior to the news being made public, that Sana’s departure from Hololive was somehow connected to NASA’s release of recent photos from the James Webb space telescope, which took place on the same day.

After that, Sana discussed the telescope photographs on Twitter, where she received an outpouring of sympathy and good wishes from her fans.

Tsukumo Sana Back Injury Details

Due to what was later discovered to be a back injury that made it difficult for Sana to sit up while streaming, she went on hiatus for the majority of the month of February as reported by Virtual Youtuber.

The lone broadcast that she uploaded to her channel during the month of February was a Valentine’s Day card stream, which took place on the 14th and followed her Pokémon Legends: Arceus live on the first day of the month.

Sana made her triumphant comeback to streaming on March 8 with a brief video in which she announced that she would continue broadcasting as soon as her recuperation would permit.
