The death of the LAAS member comes months after he was kept under the microscope for reacting to Jeremy Corbyn’s tweet. The former was even labeled as antisemitic by Corbyn’s supporters.

The scholar was known for being the senior lecturer at the Northumbria Univerity in Newcastle. He was a graduate of King’s College where he completed his BA. MPhil, and Ph.D.
Even though he was based in the UK, the lecturer was well-known all around the world, especially among the Jews. As a member of LAAS, he worked hard campaigning against the anti-Semitism that has plagued a lot of places recently
