Nadine Taylor, 29, was a Canadian woman residing in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She was a sex worker by profession.
While she was also found to be a substance user, Taylor was looking to end her addiction and live happily with her fiancé.
However, her life went on a complete swing when she went outside to make a phone call on a local payphone on July 28, 2010. 3 days later, her missing report was filed by her fiancé but she never came back alive.
It took nearly 3 years for the police officials to locate the missing person. Her remains were found in the wooden area in East Chezzetcook, Nova Scotia in March 2013.

Murder Of Nadine Taylor By Steven Laffin
Nadine Taylor was killed by a fellow resident of Halifax Steven Elliot Laffin.
Laffin was reported to have lured Nadine Taylor into his house on the day of the killing. He committed the crime after his fiancée went outside to celebrate the bachelorette party.
Steven performed the killing in his basement and upon the search by police, the bloodstains were found on the walls, floor, and murder weapon.
It was his next victim Roberta, who reported an assault to the police on August 10, 2010, which led the authorities to catch the criminal.
After he cooperated with the authorities and traced Nadine’s remains in March 2013, he was pleaded guilty for second-degree murder and was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 13 years.

Steven Laffin’s wife Joanna, who helped him to clean the blood, is not expected to be together with him now.
While Joanna was celebrating with her friends to start a new life wife Steven, he was killing a person in their house.
Joanna did not know about the horrible killing that had happened in the basement. The couple married days later after Nadine was killed.
Today, she must have moved on with her life and is assumed to have started a new family somewhere in Canada.
