Matthew Amaya, a Southridge High School met a car accident that took his life.
Police have identified two students after an accident took place that took their lives. The crash is one of the major issues that took the lives of people over and again.
A car crashed with Sheriff’s deputy patrol vehicle early Wednesday, 26th April 2022 morning. Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue responded to the accident scene and offered medical assistance.
Who Was Matthew Amaya?
Matthew Amaya was a teen boy who was a student of Southridge High School. Further investigation about the accident is still ongoing. The other victim and Sheriff’s deputy officer’s identity has not been revealed.
The Washington County crash analysis and Reconstruction Team is presently investigating the accident. Injured three students and a County deputy are in the hospital.
Their conditions are said to be critical as per Koin.com. Beaverton School District confirmed all five students present in the car were students at Southridge High School.

Matthew Amaya, a Southridge High School student met a car accident that resulted in his death. It was not only him but Juan Pacheco Aguilera, 16 years old also died in a crash.
Near 12:24 a.m., a collision occurred at the intersection of Southwest Tualatin Valley Highway and Southwest Murray Boulevard. According to reports, the driver of a Nissan Altima ran a red light and crashed with a sheriff’s deputy patrol car.
Amaya and Aguilera were pronounced deceased at the spot. Three more children, as well as a Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputy, were flown to the hospital in critical condition.
