Julie Koontz is the mother of Tate Koontz, who is soon turning 2 years old on April 21st. The pandemic, Covid had a bad impact on pregnant women. When the virus spread, the hospital was full to accommodate patients.
She had preeclampsia, a potentially life-threatening pregnancy condition characterized by high blood pressure. She was hospitalized earlier than the due date and labor were induced.
Luckily her sister who is a labor and delivery nurse was there to check up on her health and progress when she was hospitalized. The pandemic didn’t allow many people to visitor the hospital.
