A Jet truck driver named Chris Darnell died due to a fatal crash during the Battle Creek Air show.
Driver Chris Darnell, was the casualty in Saturday’s catastrophic Shockwave Jet Truck collision at the Battle Creek Field of Flight Air Show & Balloon Festival, according to the Battle Creek Police.
According to a post on his father Neal Darnell’s Facebook page on Saturday night, Darnell crashed while performing at the event at a speed of more than 300 mph in his jet truck down a runway at Battle Creek Executive Airport.
