Head coach Bobby Mcgraw from Slippery Rock University recently passed away, leaving his legacy behind.
Bobby Mcgraw was known for leading the women’s basketball program for around eight years during his coaching career. He had served at Slippery Rock University for years, being everyone’s dear.
In SRU basketball history, he was notable for being the third-longest tenured coach, who had the teams for 77 wins. Many have also known him as the fourth-ranked women’s basketball coach at The Rock winning list.
Over the years, he has shown outstanding skills to lead his team toward victory, and losing him has been a massive loss for the University and the program.

RIP: Coach Bobby Mcgraw Slippery Rock University- His Death Cause
Coach Bobby Mcgraw from Slippery Rock University has passed away. The devastating news has caused sadness to the people who have known him and started praying Rest In Peace (RIP).
His death cause has not been out yet at the moment. Even so, SRU President William Behre has informed the University community about his death mentioning,
“It is with great sadness we share the news that SRU head women’s basketball coach Bobby McGraw passed away unexpectedly Sunday, July 10.”
“… Please join us in extending the Unversity’s sincerest condolences to his family, friends, current and former student-athletes, and all those touched by this tragedy.”
The coach had spent eight years at the University leading the women’s basketball program after taking his position in 2014. Before starting as a head coach, he worked as an assistant coach for a year in the men’s basketball program, then a year in the women’s basketball program.
Besides, he was well-known as Pennslyvania State Police’s retired trooper and the U.S Marine Corps Military Police’s former member.
