Ally Kostial was a 21-year-old college student at the University of Mississippi.
According to her obituary, Ally’s graduation date was slated for sometime during the Spring of 2020. Throughout her time at Ole Miss, Ally took part in a variety of extracurricular activities. She was a founding member of the Alpha Phi sorority, president of the school’s golf club, and taught fitness classes.
Brandon Theesfeld killed Ally Kostial. In August of 2021, Brandon Theesfeld was convicted of the charges brought against him for the killing of Ally Kostial. He pleaded guilty to first-degree murder and was sentenced to life in prison.
Prior to pleading guilty, Brandon was initially charged with capital murder and was facing a potential death sentence.
