Trivia

On April 28, 2021, Fabiyi was embroiled in a drama with his female colleague, Iyabo Ojo, over Baba Ijesha’s rape saga.

Fabiyi had advised his colleague not to condemn a fallen man and also held that Baba Ijesha had the right to a fair hearing. He added that he will always use his sense and conscience in every matter because he doesn’t support evil or crime against women and children. Speaking further, he said the focus and attention should be on the mental health of the minor involved as well as her parents.

Iyabo Ojo, who felt attacked, went on Instagram Live to lay curses on Fabiyi, calling him a rape apologist.
