Theonecornelia Story Of Woman That Got Shot In The Face By Husband
The story of the woman who got shot ny husband in the face got international attention after getting viral on TikTok.
After the accident, Michelle Fox was in and out of the hospital while residing at Van Duyn Home & Hospital.
But when Fox and her daughters Maya, 6, and Malana, 1, move into the brand-new addition to her parents’ Camillus house, she and a team of committed volunteers hope that situation will change within the next week or two.
Nine months after the incident she refers to as “her accident,” Peter Gaworecki claims that if you spoke with Fox, you wouldn’t know anything was wrong.
And he is correct. Fox is a cheerful young lady who expressed optimism and gratitude last week, the day before Thanksgiving. She chuckles when Gaworecki jokingly refers to her as a “mall rat” and gushes about the lemon motif her new kitchen will have.
However, Fox is seen in a different light because of the surgical mask that covers her face up to her eyebrows and the little crocheted drape that hides her tracheostomy tube.
Reminders that Michelle, a 29-year-old mother, is not the same person she was when her husband unintentionally shot her in the face last February.
Officers arrived on the scene and discovered the 36-year-old victim with critical wounds. She was brought to a nearby hospital, where her condition is now stable.
The woman’s 39-year-old husband, who reportedly left the scene before police arrived, was named as the suspect, according to authorities. An hour later, he was discovered dead close to the 1700 block of Piedmont Avenue.

What Happened To Michelle Fox And Her Baby?
Michelle Fox had lost her sight due to the accident, and she would require daily support as she raised her two young children and had a variety of surgeries. So her family’s home on Camillus Road was going to have a two-bedroom extension with a bathroom and a dining space .And her baby Malana, who is now five years old, is fine and now leading a regular life.
Gaworecki claimed that was when the core group of volunteers stepped up to assist a total stranger. The Church of the Bells Disaster Recovery team and Knifetown American Legion Post 1540 are just two area companies and nonprofit organizations that have contributed time, resources, and money to the cause.
A benefit event was conducted in April to gather money to assist Fox in paying for medical expenses, and the Legion hosted a pancake brunch last month.
