According to the DPS statement, three additional people involved in the accident were taken to the hospital and are in stable condition.
“Sad news from Texas Highway Patrol. DGR hauler driver Steven Stotts was pronounced dead at the scene. Passengers John Zaverl and Michael Mizzelle are in stable condition. The driver of the other vehicle which was involved in the accident is reported to be in a stable condition. They were taking ARCA car to Phoenix,” Bob Pockrass tweeted.
