Last year, Steve Bannon, 68, was charged for refusing to cooperate with a congressional committee investigating the events leading up to the Capitol incident.
The former White House top strategist is alleged to have served as an unofficial adviser to Mr. Trump during the insurgency on January 6, 2021.
He faces up to two years in prison and penalties of up to $200,000 (£167,000). His sentencing is set for 21 October.

Steve Bannon has been married and divorced three times. Diane Clohesy was his third wife whom he married in 2006 followed by divorce in 2009.
Clohesy was a popular model when she was in her teens. She spent most of her childhood in Ireland with her parents and brother Declan.
