Who Is Spencer Elden And Why Did He Sue Nirvana?

Spencer Elden is an American painter, model and artist, born on February 7, 1991, to his parents who are entrepreneurs.

He is also known as Nirvana Nevermind Baby.

Elden hails from Los Angeles, California, and was schooled at a local private school in Los Angeles.

He had his college education at the Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, California.

Elden became famous when he was just 4 months old, when he was seen in the cover photo of Nirvana’s Nevermind album, a popular album by the American Rock band created by Butch Vig.

The album was released on September 24 1991 and Elden’s photograph had helped them to gain more publicity.

Why Did Spencer Elden Sue Nirvana?

Elden recently filed a lawsuit against Nirvana for sexual assault because the photograph featured him as a naked baby in a swimming pool, having his genitals exposed.

The photograph shows the baby trying to catch a dollar bill trapped on a fishing hoop.

Spencer is accusing Nirvana of using his picture as a form of sexual exploitation and pornography. He is also accusing the progenitors for not signing any agreement or obtaining a written consent before the photograph was used.

His Lawyer, Robert Y Lewis, insinuated that the dollar bill in front of the baby portrays the minor as a sex worker.

Elden served at the Shepherd Fairey for a few years. He is committed to music and the arts in general.
