A 31-year-old man, Shaun Dowling, hanged himself and committed suicide. Following the mental disorder and breaking off from his fiancee, he committed suicide on August 2, 2021.
The IT expert was found dead in his mother’s apartment following his release from a mental hospital.
His divorce from his fiancée and his growing apart from his parents, which was followed by significant debt, were just two of the many personal tragedies that led to his death. The individual must have believed that taking his own life was simpler than trying to live it.

Who Is Shaun Dowling?
Shaun Dowling is a UCL graduate who currently took his life after committing suicide.
He was an educated IT specialist with master’s degrees in machine learning from University College London and engineering mathematics from Bristol University. In an interview, his father, Mike Dowling, mentioned that his son had a very unconventional career path.
Shaun started his own investment firm with the help of his fiancée, Kim Mills. Having started an investment firm, it was believed that he had everything in life to live for.
However, after they called off their engagement in 2020, Shaun began to suffer from a mental disorder. It didn’t take him many years to take his life.
Mills’s fiancee had very unpredictable behavior, and as a result, the yoga teacher couldn’t take it anymore and decided to break off their engagement. The IT expert was even found to have assaulted his fiancee and was arrested.
Shaun was given bail on the condition that he cannot meet his fiancee. However, he violated the terms of his bail by going back to her house and scaring her, for which he was even charged.
After this, he even started to distance himself from his father, Mike Dowling.
He was now admitted to a psychiatric hospital since his mental health had gotten worse. He became much sadder after leaving the hospital because of his troubled relationship and a huge debt.
