The woman who received lewd texts from Shannon is the same woman to whom Tim Paine sent explicit messages in 2017/18 Ashes. After the texts became public, Tim resigned as the captain of the Australian Test team.
Tubb resigned from his coaching job at Cricket Tasmania after an inquiry into the alleged involvement in 2018. Tubb took up a position as the First XI coach at the school in 2018, reports news.com.au.
Tubb’s family and wife are yet to comment on the allegations and scandal.

The South Australian school’s principal where Shannon works revealed that he had no clue about the man’s involvement with the lewd texting scandal when he got hired. Prince Alfred College, Adelaide, released a statement announcing the position held by Tubb is currently under review.
Cricket Tasmania declined to comment on the matter whereas Tubb responded by saying there is no comment on the matter.
