Sadaat Johnson is an American who allegedly threatened some people with a gun on Monday, 21 February 2022.
The incident happened at a McDonald’s in 425 West 7200 South, Midvale, Salt Lake County, Utah. Reportedly, Sadaat, inside a Honda, threatened the drive-thru workers with a gun after an incorrect order.
The restaurant employees then told him that they would fix his order but, in the meantime, informed the police about the situation. As officials from the Unified Police Department arrived on the scene, they located the offender and took him out of his vehicle.
However, the situation took a turn for the worse after a four-year-old child, sitting in the backseat of the car with their three-year-old sibling, fired a gun. The bullet hit the restaurant awning since the officers noticed the weapon early and, in response, deflected it. Sheriff Rosie Rivera revealed.
Allegedly, the kid’s father told him to fire the gun. Although an officer deflected the weapon, he received a small injury in his arm. As for the officials, they didn’t return the fire.
Following the incident, the police took Sadaat into custody and charged him with felony child abuse and threatening someone with a lethal weapon.
The Sheriff was in utter disbelief as she mentioned not seeing anything like it in her 28 years of policing. She added that such campaigns against police officers should stop since they protect and serve.
