Who Is Pauline Hanson’s First Husband Walter Zagorski? Inside 7 Years Relationship Timeline

Pauline Hanson is an Australian politician known as the founder and leader of One Nation.

One Nation is a right-wing populist political party, a political party she created on 11 April 1997 as a reaction to what she thought was out of touch with mainstream Australian political parties. The party denounces globalism and economic rationalism in favor of protectionist policies.

The political party has been subject to controversy since its inception, and Hanson herself is no stranger to controversy. A fish and chip shop owner, Hanson entered politics in 1994 and has become the most famous, or perhaps notorious, member of Australian politicians.

From making controversial comments about Aboriginal Australians to Islamaphobic actions to quasi White Supremacist bills, Hanson is a name that arises strong feelings from any Australian. She has also switched parties many times, been arrested for electoral fraud, and spent 11 weeks in jail.

Who Is Pauline Hanson’s First Husband Walter Zagorski?

Walter Zagorski, the first husband of Paulina Hanson, is a former field representative and mining industry laborer.

Zagorski escaped war-torn Europe with his mother and immigrated to Australia as a refugee. He met Hanson when they were both working for Taylors Elliots Ltd., a subsidiary of the Drug Houses of Australia.

The couple married in 1971, and for seven years, they had a tumultuous marriage that eclipses most political marriages, but the thing is, Hanson wasn’t even involved with politics yet.

Zagorski cheated on Hanson extensively. Although neither party has disclosed the exact numbers, Hanson has hinted that Zogarski was involved in many extramarital affairs. So much so that Hanson left Zogarski in 1975 when she discovered his adultery. They had two children together.

However, Zogarski managed to win the future politician back in 1977. However, he would leave Hanson for another woman this time, and they would divorce later that year.

Although Hanson hasn’t talked about it publically, her relationship with Zogarski affected her to a great degree as it began in her a pattern of leaving her lovers as soon as they would show any sign of disarray. Her marriage to her second husband further solidified this pattern.

Pauline Hanson’s Second Husband – Mark Hanson

After Walter Zogarski, Pauline Hanson married Mark Hanson, a divorced tradesman working on the Gold Coast in Queensland.

Mark Hanson already had a daughter, Amanda, from his previous marriage and went on to have two children with Pauline: Adam and Lee. The couple worked together in the trades and construction business, where Pauline would be in charge of the administrative and bookkeeping while her husband would take care of the more practical work.

However, this marriage was mired in difficulty, and Pauline would state in the future how alcohol and domestic abuse became a regular part of the family’s life. She left Mark Hanson in 1987. She never married after this.

Pauline Hanson’s Other Relationships

Following her divorce from Mark Hanson, Pauline would date but never marry.

She began a relationship with Morrie Marsden, a Queensland businessman. The couple established a catering service under his holding company, Marsden Hanson Pty Ltd., and operated this catering service from their fish and chips store, Masden’s Seafood.

After Hanson went into politics by campaigning for the seat of Oxley and won, Marsden was a member of her staff, but he eventually left her when she began to gain national and international attention. Hanson would then enter a relationship with Rick Gluyas from Ipswich in 1994.

Glyuas supported her political aspirations and encouraged her to run for the 1994 Ipswich City Council election, in which he also ran. They both won, but their relationship ended soon after.

Then, Hanson dated David Oldfield in 1996, but the relationship lasted until 2000 when Hanson dismissed Oldfield from One Nation. She would eventually find herself in a relationship with Country music singer Chris Callaghan in 2005 and even get engaged in 2007, only to break off the relationship in 2008.

Her latest lover is Tony Nyquist, a property developer and real estate agent whom she met in 2011.
