Patrick Assoumou Eyi, a former coach for Gabon’s under-17 football team, is suspected of committing numerous sexual abuse against young players reported by the Guardian.

Who Is Patrick Assoumou Eyi: Is He Arrested? – Pedophilia Scandal
Patrick Assoumou Eyi, aka Capello, is a former coach for Gabon’s under-17 football team who has been arrested who was accused of raping and sexually abusing young players.
News reported by AFP says Eyi was arrested Monday in Ntoum, some 40 kilometers from the capital Libreville. They also admitted, Patrick is now in police hands after being charged with pedophilia.
Additionally, the Gabonese Football Federation last Friday adjourned Eyi and instructed the Ethics Commission of the National Football League to look into the matter officially.

Reportedly, the alleged victims said Eyi abused boys both as the head coach of the country’s youth side until 2017. However, Eyi has not reacted instantly to the questions about the claims.
One former official at Fegafoot Gabon’s football federation asserted he tried to submit problems regarding allegations of sexual abuse in association with Capello in a board meeting in 2019 and was ousted from his position as a consequence.
