Ramona Gomez American Monster Murder Story
Michelle and Ramona were driving to work on July 6, 2009, when Michelle’s ex, Selestino Torres, ambushed them and demanded to speak with them.
Selestino and Michelle first met in high school and had an on-again, off-again relationship. Although Ramona was initially impressed by Selestino, the show stated that she and Michelle soon discovered his unfaithful ways.
Because of Selestino’s infidelity, the couple split up in 2009, and Michelle was relieved to be free of the toxic relationship. However, even though neither Michelle nor her mother wanted to speak with Selestino on July 6, he would not accept no for an answer.
He insisted on speaking while standing at Ramona’s car window and even went to Michelle’s side, hoping to coerce her. However, frustrated by the lack of response, he pulled out his gun and began firing randomly into the vehicle.
