National University Hospital(NUH) is investigating the case of Mee Pok Tah’s wife who lost her baby after being unattended by the health professional for 2 hours.
Mee Pok Tah is a concerned Singaporean husband and citizen. He is on the headlines since he opened up about the carelessness of NUH A&E via his Facebook post.
Tah revealed that the negligence from the health professionals cost the life of his unborn baby. His wife bled heavily for 2 hours but there was no one to treat her.
The nurse only came and checked her vitals but did nothing for the blood loss via her birth canal. When Mee’s wife was sent to the maternity ward after 2 hours, her baby had died.

Mee Pok Tah is the husband of the woman who was left unattended at the NUH A&E for 2 hours.
As per his Facebook post, on the night of 15 March 2022, his pregnant wife started bleeding. As a result, he called on 995 and the paramedics transported her to NUH A&E.
When the woman reached the hospital, the nurse just set up the monitoring device to check her vitals. Being a health professional, she did nothing about her bleeding which is the main thing to be concerned about.
Tah’s spouse was left unattended for an estimated time of 2 hours. When she was finally taken to the maternity ward, she was handled by the nurses and doctor.
Upon medical examination, they revealed that the woman lost her baby since there was no heartbeat. Mee still thinks if his wife was immediately attended, their baby would have been alive.
After Pok’s saddening post, NUH has started its investigation on the case and the updates will soon be released.

Mee Pok Tah seems to be in the age range of 30-40 years old.
His birthday details are not disclosed on public platforms. But he is a Singaporean citizen who studied engineering at the Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
