He served as a teacher and a coach in the school however, after the incident of his sexual abuse came to notice Rennie is no longer employed.

Rennie reportedly assaulted a 17-years-old student time and time again. As per the victim, the assault took place from July 2021 to September 2021 in Montgomery Township and East Amwell Township.

The former coach is also from East Amwell Township in Hunterdon County.

Matthew Rennie was arrested for sexual assault in October 6, 2021.

He is being charged with second degree sexual assault and third degree endangering welfare of a child.

The Somerset County Professor Michael H. Robertson has revealed the details on the following charges.

Rennie was arrested on Wednesday after the teenage victim reported to the police in Franklin County. He is being held in the Somerset County Jail in Somerville ahead of detention hearing.

Meanwhile, it is not only Rennie who is being charged and arrested.

Another teacher and coach from Rutgers Ranait Griff is also arrested. Although, she had not physically abused the victim, Griff reportedly knew what was going on but she decided to tight her lips.

She is charged with endangering welfare of a child. The 30-year-old Griff was a girls lacrosse coach in Rutgers Preparatory School.
