Kristy Althaus is a controversial pageant queen known for losing her spot on the Miss Colorado Teen USA pageant after becoming embroiled in a porn scandal.
Of course, beauty pageants show off a touch of perfection, but it’s no longer new that beauty queens are also subject to scandals. From controversial comments to lewd photos/videos, court cases, drug use, secret pregnancies and lies, the pageant storyline has its fair share of intriguing drama. While some pageant queens and winners emerge unscathed from such scandals, others were ultimately stripped of their crowns or titles. However, the case of Kristy Althaus may not be the most scandalous just yet.
Who is Kristy Althaus?
Born May 2, 1994 in Aurora, Colorado, KristyAlthaus was a promising sophomore when she entered the 2012 edition of the Miss Colorado Teen USA pageant and finished as the runner-up to that year’s winner, Jacqueline Zuccherino.
Why Was Her Miss Colorado Teen USA Dipped?
After an adult video of Kristy surfaced online more than a year later, it seemed the judges changed their mind and stripped the beauty queen of her title. The porn clip shows Althaus sitting on a bed in front of the camera. When a male voice behind the camera asks how old the model is, she replies that she is 18 years old in the affirmative.
Although it was never officially confirmed, Kristy Althaus was stripped of her title after the infamous Future Productions video, but pageant organizers cleaned up all references to Althaus after evidence supporting the video surfaced. Not only did they remove their name from the 2012 Official Results website, but they also deleted a YouTube video showing the moment the results were announced during the pageant.
There have been arguments that Althaus didn’t do anything wrong in the eyes of the law, but another school of thought believes she was guilty on the basis of morality. However, the Miss Teen USA pageant website states that the only official moral standard for eligibility for the pageant is that contestants must never have married or have a child and must remain single throughout their reign. This then refutes the argument that the young beauty queen got it wrong with her infamous video.
A few months later, however, Kristy Althaus appeared to have made the decision to pursue a career in the adult industry. She wowed porn enthusiasts with a comeback after yet another video featuring a woman who bears a striking resemblance to her online website Girls Do Porn – a website specializing in amateur girls. In the second video, the woman blows a kiss into the camera, but not before quickly saying, “I just wanted to come back.” The video was reportedly used to promote sales on another website.
Pageant queens have had to live with the pressure of maintaining their reputations, and Kristy Althaus is one of the many who pushed the boundaries just a little too far. She has since become more popular as a beauty queen turned porn star, which goes against people’s expectations of beauty queens to be role models for teenagers. While she seems to be enjoying her new job, it doesn’t change our perception of beauty pageants, which will remain one of those competitions we love to hate!
relationship, friend
Kristy Althaus is linked to dating Derek Wolfe, an American football player who played for the Denver Broncos, a successfully popular National Football League team. Kristy, who was then a college student in Colorado, was in a long-distance relationship with Derek while he was playing for the Denver Broncos.
After the porn videos scandal, Derek thought the indiscretion was unique, standing by Kristy and proudly proclaiming his love and affection for her on social media. But the duo eventually called it quits after Derek reportedly found out Kristy intended to take up porn as a career. Derek also deleted all of his social media accounts afterward.
