Kim Bolan, who held command of the journalism industry for several years, has become the humming topic after her tweet related to the Arrest in the murder accusation of Ripudaman Singh Malik.
Bolan’s allegations significantly disrupted the 1985 bombing of an Air India plane, and a nearby independent school run by numerous bombing suspects was subject to a police probe.
In connection with these stories, Bolan has received death threats by phone, mail, and on local Punjabi-language radio shows since December 1997.
From the incident on June 23, 1985, until the next day, Bolan worked on the Air India story, frequently writing about the anger of the families of the dead and the larger Sikh community that no one got punished even though the suspects were well-known separatists.
Police were informed in February 1999 that Bolan was on a death list among Sikh fanatics in Vancouver.
