Oleh Synehubov is the head of the Kharkiv Oblast Administration. Kharkiv is the second-largest city and municipality in Ukraine which was attacked by the Russian rocket on February 28.
Oleh Synehuboz is the Kharkiv Regional Governor who confirmed that the Russian troops entered the city on Sunday. Kharkiv is believed to have been one of the invading Russian military’s first strategic targets.
Kharkiv is home to 1.4 million people and is located less than 20 miles from the Russian border, in northeast Ukraine. The city was approached by Russian troops shortly after the invasion began last Thursday.
The Ukrainian forces held the Russian troops at bay for three days until the Russian forces blasted Kharkiv, with Grad multiple rocket launcher systems on February 28.

It is reported that 11 people have been killed by a Russian rocket attack on Kharkiv according to Ukrainian officials.
The chief Oleh said that Russian artillery has pounded residential districts of the city, despite the absence of Ukrainian army positions or strategic infrastructure there.
The videos posted on Ukrainian media and other social networks showed Russian vehicles moving across the city of about 1.4 million people and a light vehicle burning on the road.

Later on Sunday, the governor wrote on Facebook that the Ukrainian forces have regained full control over the country’s second-largest city Kharkiv.
In a statement on Telegram Oleh stated that eleven people have been killed in the attacks. Earlier, the Kharkiv City Council said that one elderly woman died, while 16 civilians and 15 soldiers were hospitalized due to the shooting.
The Regional Head called the attacks a “war crime.”

Oleh Synehubov is currently committing to saving his country and fighting back with the Russian forces. The Regional Governor has not revealed any details of his wife and other family members.

Regional Governor said that the city was now rid of Russian troops yesterday, after street-to-street fighting. Thousands of the civilians spent the night in the basement and shelter, with intense shelling as described by one resident.
The Russian rocket struck a nine-storey residential building on Feb 28 killing 11 people while about 60 people survived after hiding in the basement.
According to the Ukraininan state communications agency, Russian troops also blew up a natural gas pipeline nearby.
