Jordan Carr is one of 13 candidates who completed the run and advanced to the semi-finals on Season 14 of “American Ninja Warrior.” She broke Casey Rothschild’s previous record as the youngest female contender to hit the buzzer.
The Easton teen, a Joel Barlow High School student, a New York City Academy trainer, and a previous professional rock climber, Jordan Carr, is one of the contenders on NBC’s “American Ninja Warrior” season debut Monday.
Carr claimed she practiced on larger obstacles and longer courses in order to prepare for the adult version. Carr, who is 15, is only now eligible to compete in the main show this year.
Jordan Carr Age And Wikipedia
Jordan Carr’s current age is 15 years old. She is one of the 13 contestants on “American Ninja Warrior” 2022.
She didn’t start out as a ninja, but rather as a competitive rock climber, spraining fingers and scratching knees all over the Northeast. She met fellow vertical fanatic Joe Moravsky, who introduced her to ninja sports while training at a rock climbing club in Fairfield.
Moravsky, a Monroe local and two-time winner of USA Network’s “American Ninja Warrior,” persuaded her to audition for the “junior” edition of the show in its first season. Jordan didn’t make the final cut, possibly due to her father Brett’s speculation that she was unprepared for the producers’ brutal vetting process. Moreover, she had quite a backstory by the time she applied for a spot in the show’s sophomore season.
Who Is American Ninja Warrior Contestant Jordan Carr?
Jordan Carr is a two-time National Ninja League World Champion who appeared in “American Ninja Warrior Junior” Seasons 2 and 3 and is competing in “American Ninja Warrior” Season 14.
Jordan is also a former competitive rock climber and member of the Team USA Speed Climbing team. Carr was a competitive rock climber for some five years before turning to ninja competitions two years ago. She started competing in pole vaulting about two months ago at Joel Barlow and is now ranked in the top two in the state.
Additionally, Carr trains upwards of six days per week. She works out at a ninja gym three or four times a week; climbs one or two times a week; and works with a trainer two times a week on overall strength, cardio, and balance. The young Carr also started coaching at a ninja gym in New York City weekly.
Jordan Carr Has Supportive Parents
Jordan Carr must be fortunate to have parents who encourage her to pursue her passions in life. It’s possible that’s the only reason she’s accomplished so much at such a young age.
Unfortunately, no reliable information about her parents exists.
