Jason Havelt is a man who recently got arrested for 16 charges.

Frederick County Sheriff’s Office didn’t disclose anything more, including his educational qualifications and professional background.
However, reports suggest that he is an ex-convicted felon.
Currently, Jason is in Frederick County Adult Detention Center. The police took him there for booking after arresting him for multiple charges on 17 March 2022.

Fredrick Count Sheriff’s Office (FSCO) arrested Jason Havelt on Thursday, 17 March 2022.
The deputies executed a search in 4300 block of Ijamsville Road, Maryland, which led to the arrest. Then, they charged the accused with 16 offenses.
They are Child porn with the intent to promote/distribute, Possession of child pornography, Firearm possession with a felony conviction, Illegal possession of ammunition, Illegal possession of a regulated firearm, Two counts of rifle/shotgun in possession with a felony conviction, Two counts of possessing a rifle/shotgun being convicted of a disqualifying crime, and Seven counts of aggravated cruelty to an animal.
The sheriff’s office made the news official on 19 March with a Facebook post. They mentioned that Jason was a suspect in the animal abuse and cruelty tips they received in November 2021. Similarly, they also posted a mugshot of the felon.
FSCO and Federick County Animal Control acquired a USB drive full of pictures showing Jason performing sexual activities on his dogs. In addition to that, the investigators found some more photographs and recordings of animal torture from his three cell phones.
Likewise, they also obtained recordings of child pornography on Jason’s electronic media. Moreover, the detectives also found pictures of him with various firearms, including rifles, shotguns, and handguns.
As for the jail sentence, he is yet to receive one. The charges he faces can get him behind bars for many years.
