Rhoderie Estrada case came to the limelight when Yostin Murillo and David Beak were charged with the sexual assault and first-degree murder of Estrada.
As per the crown prosecutor, the two men were strangers to Estrada. She told that the accused committed the vicious beating and sexual assault during break and enter.
Those men were in custody but they did not pleaded guilty. Hence they were set to go to trial in 2020 but due to Covid 19, the trial was delayed.
The cause of Rhoderie death was confirmed as blunt force trauma to the head. The trial was scheduled to last for six weeks,
