National Police spokesman Deputy Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed on Monday the arrest of Faith Varaidzo Taruvinga (29) from Izaya Park in Zvishavane and Cloud Nyoni (29).
Assistant Commissioner Nyathi said detectives set a trap and pretended to need vaccination cards.
He said Monday morning, and police received information to the effect that nurses at the Zvishavane District Hospital were issuing Covid-19 vaccination cards and demanding between $ 20 and $ 30 for a card.

Police documents show that on July 26, 2021, around 08:00 a.m., Detective Inspector Mbika Tarusenga, the officer in charge of CID Zvishavane, received information from a reliable source that the Zvishavane District Hospital was taking advantage of the members of the public.
