Matt met his second wife, a personal trainer, while she was working as an assistant to the therapists at the center, and the two married in 2017.

Matt Golinski’s first wife Rachael and their three children, Sage and Willow (12 years old) and Starlia (10 years old), were sadly killed in a house fire on the Sunshine Coast on Boxing Day in 2011.
The lone survivor of the fire was the celebrity chef, who was left with 40% burns on his body.
Golinski was in a coma for more than eight weeks, during which time he underwent various procedures.
On his long road to recovery, Golinski encountered Yarwood, his former personal trainer and now wife, in the hospital.
He also underwent 24 procedures, including skin transplants, during this time.
In addition, the pair married in 2017 and had Aluna Bennie, their first child, not long after.
