Maund, a former U.S. Military soldier, who was also a partner in Maund Automotive Group in Austin, hired some contract killer to murder his ex-girlfriend and her former boyfriend.

Erik Charles Maund Murder Plan Explained
An automotive dealer from Austin started to email a woman in February. The following woman was his ex-girlfriend. He planned on visiting her in Nashville.
After the visit, Erik started to get texts from the woman’s former boyfriend. According to CNN, the woman is identified as Holly Williams and her former boyfriend, William Laney.
Holly’s former boyfriend, Laney, threatened Erik to provide monetary payment as he was about to exp[ose his relationship with Holly.
Hence, the automotive dealer planned the murder with the help of Gilad Peled, Byron Brockway, and Adam Carey.
Furthermore, the mastermind used nearly $750,000 to make the couple silent and was scared of being exposed as he had a relationship with Holly, despite being married.
On March 12, 2020, Holly Williams and Willam Laney were found dead in a car in Nashville, Tennessee.

Erik Charles Maund Arrest Details And Charges
According to the Nashville Police Department, Erik Charles Maund and other three men were arrested for an alleged murder-for-hire plot.
On Friday, the Metro Nashville police detectives and FBI agents arrested all the four men involved in the plan. As per the officials, all four men will be returned to the Middle District of Tennessee later for further proceedings.
The charges against them haven’t been revealed yet. However, if convicted, they could face up to a lifetime in jail.
