She is originally from Victoria and her family still lives there.

Betts’ wife and companion of 6 years is the rock in his life who holds down the fort while the star forward is potting goals in the pocket at Adelaide Oval.

“The way our connection works is that we feed off of one other for support,” Scullie explained to ABC’s The Outer Sanctum program.

“In my experience, racism can be extremely alienating (for players); people assume you have a lot of support, but you don’t always.”

Eddie finds it very vital to have allies speak up, such as Patrick Dangerfield and Alex Rance.

“I’m always pleased to talk to non-Aboriginal people about why tossing a banana is hurtful and insulting. My role is to be Eddie’s ally.”

The couple had two young kids, Lewis and Billy, before getting married. Eddie, unbeknownst to Anna, carried out the plans with the assistance of a few acquaintances.

Eddie Betts, 35, and Anna Scullie, mid-30s, are parents of three sons and a twin daughter. The couple gave birth to their youngest son in December 2020.

Their twin daughters turned four this year, while their two eldest sons are above five years.

Lewis, Billy, and twins Alice and Maggie were their prior children. The family frequently goes on vacation and their family pictures are extremely adorable.

While announcing their pregnancy, Betts acknowledges his wife and stated that his wife is a superwoman. Betts admitted it was a difficult decision to leave his family in Melbourne, especially because his wife was halfway through her pregnancy, on Fox Footy’s AFL 360.

“I knew she was pregnant before I came into the hub. So it made the choice to come and play footy up here a lot tougher knowing she’s back home, pregnant.”

“Putting up with four wild Betts kids running around the house and home educating and running two companies as well,” Betts told AFL 360.

“I’m not sure how she does it. She is a Superwoman and a Supermother. I suppose if I were in that scenario, I wouldn’t be able to do it.

“I know she’ll be watching tonight, so Anna: I just wanted to thank you for everything you do; I adore you… Then the children go to bed so that mother may enjoy a night off.”

Betts stated that it was “up in the air” if he would be able to spend time with his family in the following months.
