Missing South Australian Grandmother Colleen South Found Dead In A Paddock

According to her family, Colleen South is a missing grandmother from South Australia who was discovered dead in a pasture in rural Victoria. The 58-year-old had been missing for more than a month when her car was found the same day in a ditch off Mackies Road in Bunguluke, northern Victoria.

She was spotted attempting to buy fuel, but she had problems utilizing the self-service equipment in the gas station on Calder Highway.

A family friend of Ms. South who has watched the video claims that another customer who was also paying for gas at the time saw her struggle and graciously paid the $10 that Ms. South owed.

The CCTV footage is a part of the inquiry into the disappearance of Ms. South, who had left her Adelaide home the day before, on July 2.

According to Victoria Police, witnesses claim to have last seen Ms. South heading into Wycheproof in Victoria’s Mallee in her 2006 Hyundai Getz.

The picture at the gas station was shot around 40 minutes before her car was discovered by a farmer four hours later, outside of Bunguluke in a ditch fifteen kilometers east of Wycheproof. The forty specialized cops searched the region using motorcycles, horses, and search dogs.

Her relatives discovered Ms. South’s uncle “spent shotgun rounds at the site,” but cops “had not followed up on this, nor reported it.” “The grandmother’s absence was “out of character,” but Victoria Police stated they were not investigating it further.

Farah Mark, a niece of Ms. South and the actress, had used social media to criticize Victoria Police for allegedly ruining the investigation. She has stated that her cousin had discovered tracks and a lit-up fire nearby. At the same time, police reported that no footprints had been located.

Furthermore, detectives also refuted suggestions that an appropriate investigation had not been carried out.

According to the statement, “Victoria Police initiated a thorough search of the surrounding dense bushland using air wing and drone searches together with the Mounted Branch, Canine Unit, police on foot and in cars along with SES.”

Farmers in the area were also urged to inspect the structures and sheds on their sites. A scribbled message that said “help me please” was found among her abandoned possessions, which only heightened the mystery.

Veronica recently admitted that she frequently traveled the five-and-a-half hours from Adelaide to Wycheproof to conduct independent searches. Since her mother’s possessions were left behind and the car door was closed, she thinks her mother’s absence is strange. The investigation into her death is going on.
