When life gives you lemons, you make lemonades right? What will life do to a person then to make him make lyrical lemonade? You know, lemonades taste sour, but lyrical lemonades are all shades of music. Lyrical Lemonade is actually a company that is solely dedicated to multimedia, such as creating music videos, exclusive content, live events, etc. There are so many amazing musicians and music enthusiasts who swear by their creative and innovative approach to music. When we think of lyrical lemonades, we think of one person, and that is none other than Cole Bennett.
Bio (Age) – Who is Cole Bennett?
Cole Bennett is the founder of music giant company, Lyric Lemonade. He is also a Creative Director of Creative Video. To learn more about this savvy business executive, we’ll have to go back to the very beginning.
It all started in Chicago on May 14, 1996 when a baby boy was born. As an elementary school student, he bought a CD that sparked his interest in rapping. That CD was 50 Cent’s Get Rich or Die Trying. He then discovered Chance and that’s how his love got closer to Chicago. He started going to all the musical shows Chicago offered and in high school he was really hooked.
Lyrical Lemonade started as a blog when Cole was in his senior year. He used it to tell stories of seemingly small music acts in the city of Chicago. He wrote on the blog daily, about five articles a day. After graduating, the guy from Plano Illinois moved to Chicago for college.
He attended DePaul University and majored in Digital Cinema. This course fell short of his expectations and was an obstacle to his passion for music. Midway through his sophomore year, Cole decided to quit school and focus fully on Lyrical Lemonade, a decision he hasn’t regretted so far. He never stopped creating videos for local artists while he was in school, so he already had his place in the Chicago music scene. Cole was also known for creating a host of ciphers where people were just logged in. It was his way of making sure everyone was heard.
Apparently, Cole’s big break came with Soulja Boy’s Workin It video. He did the animation on the video and it sold his name wider. He reportedly learned a large majority of what he knew from YouTube tutorials, including his animation skills. Another major success was the collaboration with Dex, the famous rapper, and his work. He achieved about 15 videos and even 14 million views with Hit Em Wit It. Smokepurpp, Lil Pump, Warhol, Wiz Khalifa, Comethazine and Han Vader have also worked with him.
Lyrical Lemonade, of course, grew from just a local blog to a small business site. Elliot Montanez, Cole’s friend, is responsible for running the day-to-day business of the site. The company also sells merchandise including t-shirts, lighters, hoodies and water bottles. Lyrical Lemonade also has a YouTube channel with over 5.8 million subscribers and 1.7 billion views since joining on March 25, 2013. On Twitter, she has over 250,000 followers and 1.1 million on Instagram. Cole Bennett is active on social media platforms himself and has a highly anticipated following. He has over 354,000 followers on Twitter and 1.2 million on Instagram.
His net worth
According to a recent Forbes listing, this young music director is worth around $1.5 million. That’s no surprise considering his many creative outlets in his lyrical lemonade business. Ceteris paribus, this figure is set to rise even higher as he continues to make interesting videos.
Family and other facts
For many years, most of the music videos Cole made were shot in his mother’s house. It shows the support she received from her and her contribution to making him the star he is today.
In April 2016, his sister gave him a birthday present that pushed him further. It was a surprise trip to Coachella, which Cole quickly turned into a networking event. He met artists such as Lil Pump, Stitches and SmokePurpp, before doing business with them and others. Clearly, that’s what family is for.
Cole’s birth sign is Taurus, his love life is a mystery to many, but it is known that he once dated Lana Marie, a photographer. Going from what he shares on his social media platforms, he has a relationship with the blonde featured above. He views her as his “ride or die.”
