Adil Rami is a former French international footballer who started his national career after winning the 2018 FIFA World Cup. The defender of Moroccan origin works for the French Ligue 1 Olympique de Marseille.

Born to Moroccan parents on December 27, 1985, Adil Rami grew up with his three siblings in the southeastern town of Frejus on France’s Mediterranean island region of Corsica in Bastia, where his mother found employment as a member of the city council.
A young Rami had ambitions to become a professional footballer, but due to the need to make ends meet, he worked as a maintenance worker and cleaner. This prevented him from fully focusing on his football career and made him a late bloomer. He had joined local youth club Etoile Frejus Saint-Raphael at the age of nine and made his amateur debut for the club in 2003 when he played in the fourth division of French football, the Championnat de France Amateur.
Adil Rami made a total of four appearances for his team in the first season, however he managed to double that the following season as he appeared in 24 games. Rami, who started out as a midfielder, switched to defender later in the 2005/06 season, cementing his position and attracting interest from larger French sides.
At the start of the 2006/07 season, Ramizog posted to Lille where he continued his development as a player in the reserve team. He played for the first team in the last two games of the season and was permanently promoted to the senior team. He made 163 appearances for the team over four seasons before joining Spanish club Valencia. After three years in Spain, Valencia sold the defender to Italian giants Milan amid allegations of unprofessional behaviour. He played two seasons for the club before returning to Spain. This time he joined Sevilla where he enjoyed great success over two seasons before returning to France to play for Marseille.

Adil Rami is currently in a romantic relationship with Pamela Anderson, a Canadian-American actress and model best known for appearing in films such as Barbed Wire (1996), Blond and Blonde (2008), the Baywatch and VIP TV series. She was also a famous Playboy roommate in the early 1990s, appearing as Playmate of the Month for Playboy magazine in February 1990.
The pair are said to have started seeing each other in May 2017 after meeting at a party during the Monaco Grand Prix. It was reported that although they could not speak the same language fluently, the couple caught on and became an item almost soon after. A few months later in September, Anderson was spotted cheering on her boyfriend while playing for his club Marseille in the French first division. Since then she has been a regular at his games. She was last seen kissing Rami at the 2018 Russia World Cup as he helped France win their second world title.
It’s not clear if the wedding bells ring is about to ring for the couple, but Anderson was spotted with what appears to be an engagement ring, sparking speculation about a possible link between the couple despite their 19-year age difference.
