The footballer was raised in South Jordan, Utah, and attended Bingham High School, where he participated in basketball and football. He then played on three state championship football teams and two basketball teams. Three weeks into his freshman year, he was awarded a scholarship.
Dax was named to the Salt Lake Tribune’s second team 6A All-State team as a senior. He chose BYU as a walk-on over scholarship offers from Southern Utah and Weber State.
The athlete got drafted in the seventh round (258th overall) of the 2021 NFL Draft by the Washington Football Team.
