The 47-year-old skater, Sarah Abitbol started began skating at the age of six. She began competing in pair skating in 1992, when she was 17 years old, alongside Stéphane Bernadis.
She began her professional career in 1982 and retired in 2003. Sarah won the 2000 World Bronze Medal and the Silver Medal in the 2000 Grand Prix Final alongside her partner Stéphane Bernadis.
Sarah won the Golden Spin of Zagreb in2001, as well as competed in the 2002 Olympics. She has ten French national skating titles and seven European Figure Skating titles to her record, plus two silver and five bronze medals. Her new coach Jean-Christophe Simond, helped her prepare for the 2003 European Championships.

Sarah Abitbol married her husband (mari), Jean-Louis Lacaille in 2009. He is also a professional figure skater. The couple has a daughter together named Stella.
The couple is doing back and forth between Maimi and Paris. However, they live in Paris France. Sarah is often posting on her Instagram of her and her husband (mari) doing ice skating.
