American football quarterback Jalen Alexander Hurts plays for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League.
Before his time with the Philadelphia Eagles, Hurts played his first three college football seasons at the University of Alabama and his final year at the University of Oklahoma.
Hurts was a quarterback from the jump as he competed to open the season as the starting quarterback in 2016. Although Blake Barnett started the first game for the Alabama Crimson Tide football team, Hurts took over the starting role from the second game onwards.
By taking over the starting role, Hurts became the first true freshman to quarterback for Alabama in 32 years. This fact wouldn’t be the only historic thing Hurts would do, as his freshman season would be equally historic.
Under head coach Nick Saban, Hurts would throw for 2,780 yards and 23 touchdowns with just nine interceptions. He had a 62.8 percent completion percentage and finished the season with a quarterback rating of 139.12.
The rest of his college career would be equally as stellar as his performance in both his sophomore and junior would be similarly monstrous as his team only lost once in his sophomore season and zero times in his third season.
Hurts would then complete his B.A. in communication and information sciences and move to Oklahoma for his final year of eligibility.

Does Jalen Hurt Have A Girlfriend? Is He Dating?
Jalen Hurts is rumored to be dating his girlfriend, fellow University of Alabama peer Bry Burrows.
The inspiring couple has been dating on and off and is currently in their off phase, but given their history, it’s too early to count their relationship out.
They first broke up when Hurts left the University of Alabama in order to join the University of Oklahoma during his last year. Though one might’ve thought that’d be the last of their relationship, Burrows was seen in attendance for many of Hurts’ Philadelphia Eagles games.
Some fans began to see Burrows as Hurts’ lucky charm as the Eagles would win every game she was in. However, sources close to the two would state that they are not dating as Hurts is focusing on his football career.
As Hurts is one of the most prominent players with only two years under his belt, it makes sense why he is focusing on his career rather than his romantic life. Still, for all intents and purposes, the two seem like they are good friends, and Burrows seems to be cheering Hurts on in his career.
Hurts has a lot of support from his loved ones, too, as one of his parents has attended all of his games.
