Kayvon moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota, when he was 3. To pursue his music career, Kayvon later moved to New York. At present, he lives in Vancouver, BC. 

In 1986, Kayvon started working with his music partner Bwatnick and formed Beatnick & K-Salaam Productions. They go by this name on both Instagram and Twitter.

Marlon Kazadi says that it was his mother who got him into acting at the early age of 9.

As a child, he loved to copy and play different characters from movies. His mother realized that he had talent and thought that he could try acting professionally.

He made his first debut on the ABC series The Whisper at the age of 9.

Surprisingly, he decided to leave acting and pursue his dream of becoming a professional soccer player. 

Marlos soon realized that he loved acting more and came back in 2018 as Omer in Child’s Olay’s feature film. 

His talent was recognized, and the same year he was cast in two popular series. He played Young James (Jimmy) Olsen in Supergirl and Malcolm in Riverdale.

Marlos got to play his first lead role as Taylor in the feature film Chained (2020). His acting was praised, and he won the “Best Young Actor” award from the New York International Film at the Vancouver Film Critics Circle Awards.
