With that action, the Mets did not offer him but had given him a chance of a compensatory selection in the 2022 MLB draft.

The young lad did not join MLB; instead is now playing for the Tri-City ValleyCats of the Frontier League.

Kumar Rocker was born to his amazing parents, his father, Tracy, and his mother, Lu.

Tracy is a former NFL player, having played with the Washington Redskins as he was selected in the third round of the 1989 NFL Draft by the Redskins. He also got selected to the NFL All-Rookie team in 1990.

However, Tracy played only two seasons in the NFL with the Redskins and concluded his playing career. Before that, he played for a one-year stint with the Orlando Thunder in the World League of American Football.

Rocker Senior is widely known for his football coaching career. He is the current defensive line coach for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL).

On the other hand, Kumar’s mother, Lalitha aka Lu, is noted for her hard work in supporting the young lad’s bussing stage as a baseballer.

She had traveled with him to hundreds of ball games and cheered for him. Tracy and Lu interact with the media when it comes to talking about their son.

Kumar Rocker has a mixed ethnicity, given that his father is an African-American and his mother is an Indian.

His father, Tracy, is a native of Atlanta who later settled down in many states due to his athletic and coaching career.

Meanwhile, Kumar’s mother, Lu, is a pure Indian whose parents had moved from India to the U.S. Lu met Tracy when she was a student at the University of Maryland, and Tracy played for the Washington Redskins.

The two’s love and marriage welcomed Kumar, named after his Indian heritage. With the news of his MLB draft last year, he had become the first Indian-American to be drafted to MLB, Sports India Show reported.

Sadly, he did not play on the MLB grounds for medical reasons. His agent, Scott Boras, has maintained that Rocker requires no medical attention.

He then served as the head football coach at Point University in West Point, Georgia, from 2013 to 2014.
