The 51-year-old broadcaster disclosed she would undergo surgery next month to remove the tumor. She would go through a mastectomy to remove her left breast, reported Mirror.
The doctors will also remove tissues from her lymph nodes to determine if cancer has spread to her other body parts.
The Countryfile star told her three children about the cancer last week and is being positive about the whole ordeal. She also revealed that if cancer has not spread to other body parts, she may not need chemotherapy.
