Gadirova Twins Jessica & Jennifer Parents: Father Natig And Mother Iona
Jennifer Gadirova and her twin sister Jessica were born to their parents, including their father, Natig Gadirova, and mother, Iona Gadirova.
Both of their parents are of Azerbaijani descent and were both born in Dublin, Ireland. Their mother and father are citizens of Azerbaijan.
Gadirova was born in Dublin while her parents were employed there for a brief period; as a result, she holds dual citizenship with the UK and Ireland. Her grandfather is a professor of physics and mathematics, and her grandmother is a retired pediatrician who resides in Baku.
The girls began training and competing in Buckinghamshire, devoting 30 hours a week to gymnastics. The girls started gymnastics at six, which is unusual for gymnasts, but they have never had much dance instruction. Instead, they rely on their inherent talent and coordination to carry out their routines.
Jennifer participated in the British Championships the following month when she finished fifth in the floor exercise, sixth in the vault, and twentieth in the all-around.
She competed at the British Team Championships to close the season, finishing third in the junior non-squad all-around.
Are They Gadirova Twins Foster Parents?
Natig and Iona Gadirova are the parents of the identical twin gymnasts Jessica and Jennifer Gadirova. They were raised by their parents, who are from Azerbaijan. Natig and Iona are the twins’ real parents and not foster parents.
Gadirova’s mother wanted her and her sister to have a way to release their energy, so they started gymnastics when they were six years old. The twins lived in Humber Avenue, Coventry. Between 2008 and 2013, Sarah Simpson regularly babysat them and took them to gymnastics lessons three times a week.
Mrs. Simpson had not seen the Gadirova family since they returned for a visit in 2014. The Gadirova family moved from Coventry in 2013. The next time she saw them on television during the qualifying rounds for the female artistic team all-around gymnastics event at the Tokyo Olympics, she was in for a surprise.
Gadirova participated at the English Championships in March 2022, where she won the all-around competition and the vault and floor gold medals.
Later that month, the gymnast, Jessica, competed at the British Championships in Liverpool. She won the all-around gold medal with a score of 54.650, beating off Ondine Achampong and her sister Jennifer, who were teammates from Aylesbury.
